Our Story: Bringing the Caribbean Home, Sustainably
Welcome! I’m Gemma, founder of Caribbean Green Living.
This space grew from my lifelong love for the vibrant flavors, culture, and traditions of the Caribbean.
Growing up, the kitchen was the heart of our home. The comforting aromas of my grandmother’s cooking filled the air daily. She taught me something powerful: food is never just food. It is memory, culture, and connection.
But over time, I began asking deeper questions:
How can we enjoy the foods we love while also caring for our health?
How can we cook traditional Caribbean meals while reducing waste and living more sustainably?
That journey led to the creation of Caribbean Green Living.
Today, this website is dedicated to helping readers rediscover Caribbean cooking through a modern, thoughtful, and sustainable lens.
