Adding an apple to juicing recipes
Apples contain natural sweeteners that are perfect when making fruit juices. They contain a different kind of sugar that is different than regular sugar. They also contain fiber and nutrients.
When mixed with other fruits and vegetables it is a wealth of nutrients and vitamins in a glass – the potential of boosting your energy level. And not to forget, a great way to start your morning.
Juicing is a healthy habit
If you are into healthy eating, you won’t mind juicing a few fruits and vegetables. With juicing, you gain more nutrients than if your vegetables were cooked. Research has found that you gain the full potential of all the nutrients when you eat your vegetables raw. But unfortunately, we can eat all vegetables; some must be cooked.
I juice several times during the week because it is the easiest way for me to consume my daily vegetables and fruits requirement. And frankly, it beats out eating a lousy breakfast every morning.
Fruits and vegetables, of course, are a great way to get most of your vitamins. Eating at least 2 – 3 fruits a day will help your body maintain its vitality.
It’s a good idea to make a natural energy booster drink
Apples, for example, are extremely rich in important antioxidants, and dietary fiber. Tomatoes are an excellent source of vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin K, potassium, manganese, magnesium, phosphorous, and copper. They also contain a significant amount of vitamin B6, folate, and thiamin.
Celery, not to forget, is an excellent source of antioxidants. It also contains vitamins and minerals such as vitamin K, vitamin C, potassium, folate and vitamin B6. Our last ingredient, Turmeric, is “le creme de la creme.”
Turmeric has so many properties and benefits that many health educators are encouraging people to include it in their daily meals at least once a day.
Turmeric has anti-inflammatory abilities, helps with useful for constipation, cramping, and irritable bowel syndrome. It is said to also relieve severe menstrual discomfort, cramping, bloating, excessive bleeding, or mood swings. It also has many properties that can help with many cancers and heart disease.
As these fruits and vegetables and spice are great for our immune system, it is always advisable to consume them in moderation. It is also advisable to consult your doctor or nutritionist for more advice.
Feeling tired? Juicing might give you the boost that you need. Fruits and vegetable juices are better and healthier than energy drinks.
Other vegetables and fruits you may wan to add
There are a variety of fruits and vegetables you may want to combine when juice. But you have to remember that you can ingredients that will blend well and you won’t need to strain the juice. When you strain juices, you lose some of the nutrients. This is where having the right juicer or blender is worth it.
There are other fruits and vegetables I would suggest not adding but it is again your preference. One fruit I would not is banana. Bananas will change the texture of this juice recipe.
I juice many of my fruits and vegetables because I want to be healthier and have more energy. Juicing also reduces the levels of toxicity in my body and boosts my immune system.
Juice the vegetables and fruits you like first and slowly integrate the ones you don’t like so much. Match and mix until you get the taste you want.
