What kind of Chicken should I use?

Bone-in chicken pieces are favored. Chicken legs are easier to turn while roasting. You can use chicken breast or chicken thighs as well. The bone keeps the meat from drying out and retaining flavor.

The ingredients for your marinade

The perfect marinade begins with the right seasoning. I used NouBess Barbebue Seasoning, and NouBess Hot and Spicy Sauce for this recipe. This combination will give you bold and exotic flavors, a tasty meal, and many hungry stomachs. 🙂

Check out the recipe! Mix all ingredients for the marinade, pour over the cleaned chicken legs in a ziplock bag, and refrigerate. You can let the chicken marinate for up to 4 hours or overnight for more flavor.

Here are some tips for making the best barbecue-baked chicken legs:

  • Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet. If you overcrowd the baking sheet, the chicken will not cook evenly.
  • Serve the chicken immediately. Barbecue-baked chicken legs are best served hot and fresh.
  • Bake chicken legs on a wire rack inside the baking sheet for extra crispy skin.
  • You can also mix the marinade with your favorite store-bought sauce.
  • Serve chicken legs with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, rice, or potatoes.

Happy cooking!
