Easy Roasted Pork Belly Bites

Roasted Pork Belly Bites are tender, juicy, and full of flavor. They are perfect for lunch, busy weeknights, and easy weekend dinners. Roasted in Noubess Baharat Seasoning and tossed in a store-bought sweet and sour sauce finishes these beautifully! Only 3 ingredients are needed for this pork recipe.

Having the right seasoning in your pantry for cooking is essential. When craving an Asian exotic meal, we lean towards store-bought flavorful sauces. Although full of flavor, many of these sauces sometimes contain a lot of sodium and sometimes MSG.

This particular pork belly recipe is super easy to make and does require a store-bought sweet and sour sauce. The sweet and sour I chose to make this recipe is from my local Wegman’s Supermarket. The bottle size is 14.5 oz, the serving size is 2 tablespoons, total sodium is 135mg which accounts for 6%, and labeled as organic. This sauce is very flavorful and not bad when mixed with Noubess Baharat Seasoning.

What is pork belly?

Pork belly is a fatty, boneless cut of meat attached to the spareribs and the loin. The meat is sold in one piece or strips. Cooking methods include braising, roasting, searing, and smoking.

This meat cut is widely used in Asian cooking and versatile to cook with. The taste is exceptional. It is a bit salty, so I recommend not adding any salt to this recipe. The meat is meaty, hearty, and rich in flavor.
