Egg Salad with Turkey Bacon Bits
The recipe for this egg salad was just an accident. Egg Salad with Bacon Bits was just a dish I prepared on Sunday for lunch. I have been baking for Cooking Sense Magazine so they could have more dishes and recipes for their first issue. Although I am grateful for this opportunity, it is a little scary because I don’t know how the public will review the magazine. For any new adventure and opportunity, there is always uncertainty. And in other to beat this particular change I better have a full stomach to finish my task.
You know when you are having this empty feeling that no matter what you eat you won’t feel satisfied because it is not unique enough. So to make the egg salad special and trick my mind and stomach, I added turkey bacon bits. And guess what? It was not unique enough until I added the secret ingredient. Bavarian Mustard!

Yes! Bavarian Mustard is the secret ingredient. My mind went wild when I first tasted the egg salad. It was smooth, salty, sweet, and peppery and the taste of the Bavarian mustard was just wild. The other ingredients were mayonnaise, freshly cracked pepper, and a few drops of habanero hot pepper sauce. And again, just marvelous!
I don’t want to sound as if I am bragging or maybe the egg salad tasted good because I was super famished. Naaa! Doubt it. But seriously, you have to try this. So here is the recipe and don’t forget to let me know if you like it or not.
Enjoy!
