Fresh lemonade with vanilla extract, a delicious and refreshing all-year-round drink.
If you haven’t had lemonade juice with vanilla extract, today is the day to try. This recipe is refreshing, and best serve cold.
Fresh Vanilla Lemonade is by far the most popular and favorite Summer drink. But have you ever tried it with vanilla extract? This particular method of adding vanilla extract is a Haitian Caribbean thing. I am not sure if other islanders add vanilla extract, but it sure tastes good.
The dos and the don’ts
When you want to try something new, add a splash of vanilla extract to your lemonade. By the way, a good vanilla extract is perfect to use with lemonade and every recipe requiring it. It is a great ingredient for not only baked goods but for shakes and smoothies as well.
One important thing to remember is to never start a debate with Haitians. We will all tell you that we have the best vanilla. Our extract tastes and smell better than any other brand. 🙂
