A Simple Pasta Salad is always the key to a quick side dish or main dish. When making pasta salad, a good brand of olive oil, a mixture of dried or fresh spices, salt, pepper and a combination of raw or cooked veggies are required.
Television and the internet can be intimidating with all fancy pasta recipes and fancy names. Pasta is not a difficult ingredient to cook or mix with other ingredients. Many people love using salt and pepper as main ingredients in their pasta dishes, but what about the fresh herbs such parsley, thyme, oregano, mint, etc. And even vegetables make a huge difference. Raw, steamed, boil or grilled vegetables add texture to a pasta dish.

Spices and fresh vegetables go very well with any pasta dish without any sauce added. When making pasta with a red or white sauce, the same concept must be applied. The red or white sauce must be flavorful.
A bad sauce, in my opinion, is the worst enemy of a pasta dish. It is very difficult to fix a dish that has already been prepared. When making any type of sauce, make sure the sauce is well spiced and made with fresh ingredients. You will notice the difference.
Remember the key to making a wonderful dish is having good ingredients and good spices. Don’t go for that cheap spice when you can get a bolder taste with a well-known brand spice. I am not saying that you should buy expensive spices but sometimes some of the expensive ones are worth buying.
