This dish is made with frozen white corn and yellow corn slowly cooked with spices and onions. The sweetness of the white corn overwhelmed the spices.

The taste is exceptionally good with this simple spice blend, Italian Seasoning. The only tiring task is the constant stirring to avoid sticking or burning. The buttery and sweetness of the corn is a perfect side dish for any main entrees. It is a simple showstopper dish your family will love.

You can also make it with fresh corn, but cooking time will be longer. Also, make sure you use a good brand of butter.

Tasty Pan-Roasted Yellow and White Corn

Yellow and White Corn, a delicious tasty side dish to enjoy with roasted meat or seafood. Easy and simple.

  • 2 cups yellow corn frozen and thawed
  • 2 cups white corn frozen and thawed
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup onions finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  • In a large skillet add oil and butter. Under low to medium heat, cook butter in oil for 1 minute until completely dissolve. Add onion and garlic. Cook while stirring 1 - 2 minutes. Add yellow and white corn, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Stir continuously until both yellow and white corn are cooked but still crunchy. Serve hot.


You can also use fresh corn, but cooking time will be much longer.
