In a large sauce pan over medium high heat, add milk, anise and cinnamon and bring to a boil.
Add salt and pasta, lime rind. Once the milk starts to boil again, reduce heat to medium low and let pasta cook for about 25 minutes stirring occasionally so it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
Add sugar, vanilla and butter and continue to cook until the pasta is fully cooked.
Remove cinnamon stick and star anise and serve hot.
To make Spaghetti with Milk, you can use any size Spaghetti, linguini or vermicelli.
