Mahi-Mahi with Garlic Chips

  • ½ cup Olive Oil
  • 12 Garlic Cloves cut into
  • 1 tbsp Noubess Fish Seasoning
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 4 Mahi-Mahi Steaks about ¾ inch each - about 2 pounds total


  • For the fish, a quick rinse each steak in a lemon base water bath. Pat dry with a paper towel and set aside on a plate.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  • In a small saucepan, combine the oil, garlic and fish seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat, occasionally stirring until the garlic starts to brown - about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and strain the oil into a small bowl, reserving the cooked garlic.
  • Brush the oil over the fish and season with salt and pepper (optional, but not necessary if on a low sodium diet). Cook the fish skin side up (if attached to the fish steaks) for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and top with garlic chips and any remaining oil. Return to the oven for about 7 minutes.
  • Remove and serve with your preferred side dishes.
