Drain the salmon and add it to a bowl. Mash it with a fork. Add the other ingredients to the bowl, and mix them all together. Taste and season and adjust seasoning and lemon juice as needed.
This recipe makes enough for 2 sandwiches for 2 people (2 bagels also). Add a couple of slices of tomato, and lettuce leaves. This canned salmon salad will keep in the fridge for 3-5 days in an airtight container.
This recipe is super easy to make.
Use a fork to mash the salmon and the bones and to combine the ingredients together. Feel free to add or omit certain ingredients.
Dill is not included in the recipe because I prefer it in fresh salmon recipes. But feel free to use it.
Add slices of tomatoes and leafy lettuce to make it a superb meal. Don’t forget watercress; another great ingredient.
