  • 3 lb Fresh Tuna cut in small chunks
  • 2 - 3 tablespoons Lime or White Vinegar to clean fish
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Noubess Fish and Seafood Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme leaves only
  • 1 teaspoon Noubess Hot and Spicy Original Sauce
  • 1- inch Fresh Ginger grated
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 cup Onions sliced
  • 1/2 cup Water

  • Clean chunks of tuna with lime juice or vinegar and rinse quickly with cold water. Pat dry and place in bowl. Add fish seasoning with 1 teaspoon olive oil and marinate tuna for a few minutes.
  • While tuna is marinating, prepare spice blend. In a mortar and pestle, add parsley, black pepper, ginger, garlic, salt and thyme. Grind until spices form a paste and mix hot and spicy original with herbs. In a large skillet or pan, heat oil, spices paste and let fry for about 1 minute. Add tomato paste and mix well. Add onions and let cook for another minute. Add diced tomatoes and mix well. Add tuna chunks, gently stir and let cook for 1 - 2 minutes while stirring occasionally. Add lime juice and water, stir to mix, lower heat and cook covered for 15 minutes. Add additional salt and pepper if necessary. Serve hot.

Add about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of Hot and Spicy Original with Herbs if you don't want the tuna to be too spicy.
Use only the recommend amount of water as the Tuna will release more water while cooking.
