Easy Linguine with Langoustines and Alfredo Sauce
This Linguine with Langoustines and Alfredo Sauce has the perfect balance of flavor, a one-dish meal, and best of all, it is easy to make.
I always have pasta with a tasty sauce. And this recipe is one of my favorites. A delicious pasta dish is comfort food that speaks to the soul and warms the heart any season. This recipe is easy to prepare, and if you don’t like seafood, you can substitute it with any other type of meat.
If you are looking for ways to incorporate seafood and a creamy sauce with pasta, this recipe is for you. The added mushrooms are added for more texture and to have our dose of veggies for the meal.
You can easily find Alfredo sauce at your local supermarket—the tastier and cheesier the sauce, the more delicious the dish. You may be more familiar with shrimp or chicken alfredo but not langoustines. Don’t worry; you can use whatever meat or seafood you prefer.
The ingredients you need for the recipe
- Linguine pasta: this type of pasta will hold the Alfredo sauce beautifully. You can also use Fettucine or spaghetti noodles if you want.
- Olive oil: the best olive oil, if you can, will go wonderfully with this dish.
- NouBess Hot and spicy: makes a huge difference in this sauce. It gives it tons of flavor and aroma.
- Garlic cloves: try not to substitute this ingredient. Fresh is better with this dish.
- Shallots: can be replaced with red onion or white onion.
- Raw or frozen and then thawed Langoustines. You may find this for cheaper at Costco.
- Seafood seasoning: NouBess Seafood Seasoning does not contain salt. You must adjust the sodium if you choose a seafood seasoning blend containing salt.
- Cherry tomatoes: go better with this dish than regular tomatoes, which may make the dish too saucy when the tomato chunks disintegrate.
- Portobello mushroom: give the dish a nice vegetable texture. It is a great combination of cherry tomatoes and Alfredo sauce.
- Alfredo Sauce: storebought is fine. I prefer Bertolli Alfredo sauce.
- Parmesan cheese shredded for garnish
- Fresh or dried parsley chopped for garnish
You may have noticed that I also added cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. You don’t need to add meat or seafood if you are not a fan of meat or seafood. This dish can be prepared without meat as well. It will always taste delicious. The secret to making this recipe is timing, condiment, and spices.
