Haitian Cherry Liquor or Easy Liqueur de Cerise recipe

pineapple

Haitian Cherry Liquor, also known as Liqueur de Cerisse, Likè de Cerise or Likè ceriz, is a sweet and delicious liqueur popular in Haiti and the Caribbean. It is made with fresh cherries, rum, vanilla bean and sugar, and is often enjoyed on its own or used in cocktails.

Haitian Cherry Liquor Recipe Cherry liquor is a liqueur flavored with cherries. It can be made with a variety of different types of cherries, including sweet cherries or sour cherries. For the purpose of this blog post, I will be using cherries that are available near me and not the Caribbean type of cherries.

A cherry liqueur is typically made by steeping the cherries in a neutral spirit, such as vodka or brandy, and then adding sugar. Some cherry liqueurs contain other flavorings and sometimes spices, such as cinnamon sticks or cloves.

My Cherries Liqueur (liquor) is a dessert cocktail you want to make yearly. It is perfect for the holidays and makes a great Christmas stuffer gift. It’s super easy and perfect for any occasion. It goes perfectly with the delicious and popular recipe of Haitian Gateau a L’Orange or Haitian Orange Cake.

I usually don’t share alcoholic drinks or cocktails, but it is the season, and why not? This smooth cocktail drink only requires four ingredients and a sterilized bottle. I would not advise using any bottles because you need a wide-neck bottle. You will need to have a bottle where you can easily fit the cherries without force. You don’t want to break the cherries; they must stay whole.
