- First, wash the leaves and stems well. Only chop off the ends of the stems, remove any roots if attached, and remove any dead leaves. You may have to wash the leaves several times to remove any excess dirt attached to the leaves.
- Place the mint leaves into the pot or tea kettle. Depending on the amount of mint leaves, please fill-up the pot with enough water to cover them.
- Bring to a boil. Let the water boil for only 5 – 7 minutes. Turn off the heat and keep covered for another 5 minutes.
